Alexander Heights Family Practice provides a comprehensive accident and emergency service.

We have a fully equipped emergency room ready to deal with common injuries including cuts, fractures, and sprains, as well as medical emergencies such as chest pain and breathing difficulties. 

For any urgent issues, please phone prior to attending and state this is an urgent issue. Nursing and senior reception staff are available to determine the level of urgency and find a time as appropriate. We will always do our best to fit in a patient with an urgent problem, including children and seniors, or direct a patient to ambulance or emergency departments if attending the practice is not appropriate.

Our practice is equipped to handle fractures and lacerations, including plastering and sutures. We also welcome workplace injuries covered under worker's compensation.
