Immunisations
Alexander Heights Family Practice provide the full range of vaccinations for patients according to the National Immunisation Schedule.
Childhood Vaccine Schedule
The schedule includes vaccines for infants at 2, 4, 6, 12, and 18 months, and at 4 years.
For school age children who miss their school vaccination or elect to get their vaccines through their GP, these are done at Yr 8 in terms 1, 2 and 3. Teens between 15 and 20 can have a vaccination for Meningococcal ACWY as part of the catch-up program.
Free Adult Vaccinations
The pneumococcal vaccine is available for free to over 65s, and the herpes zoster (shingles) vaccine to 70-80 year olds. The Whooping Cough vaccine is available free for pregnant women.

Please see your regular doctor for advice on what travel vaccinations to get. Please present more than 14 days prior to departure.
