- Billing purposes, including compliance with Medicare Australia, Department of Veterans’ Affairs, the Health Insurance Commission and RiskCover
- Disclosure to others involved in your health care, including treating doctors and specialists outside the medical practice
- Disclosure to other doctors in the practice, locums and registrars for the purpose of patient care and teaching
On occasion, the practice may undertake research and quality assurance activities. You will be informed when such activities are being conducted and given the opportunity to “opt out” of any involvement.
